About Me
|
I am a passionate photographer with an extensive knowledge of landscape photography. I have lived in the Northwest my entire life. My passion for photography goes back to the early 1980's. I am the Coordinator for the Portland/Vancouver Photography Meetup Group and have led several outings and workshops throughout the Northwest. I have been teaching Lightroom and Photoshop since 2007.

- Post processing using Lightroom Classic (not Lightroom CC) and Photoshop
- Detailed step-by-step instructions and hands-on exercises

- Post processing using only Lightroom Classic (white balance, lens corrections, defringing, editing the sky independent of the land, sharpening and noise reduction, removing distractions)
- Post processing using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
- Using Photoshop smart objects
- Exposure blending in Photoshop
- Star reduction and clarity using star removal in Photoshop
- Stacking methods for noise reduction
- Noise reduction methods using Lightroom and Topaz
- Photoshop luminosity masks/selections for dodging and burning
- Selective sharpening in Photoshop
- Photoshop channels to save and modify masks
- Photoshop action set included with your tuition (create/preview luminosity masks, create dodging and burning layers and create a clarity/sharpening layer)

Preparing for the Class
|
- Latest version of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop installed on your computer
- Basic working knowledge of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
- Basic working knowledge of your computer's operating system
- Sample images downloaded to your computer and imported to Lightroom Classic (link to raw files provided upon registration)
- If your imnages are used, send them to me via my Google drive (instructions sent)
