Online Classes 2020

New for 2020! I'm now offering low cost online classes on many subjects. Length will run from 1 to 2 hours. All will be conducted using Zoom video conferencing. Zoom offers easy and effective ways to communicate online. Video conferencing with sound (via your computer's microphone and a cell phone). Participants can share their screen, chat, annotation, and much more.

Lightroom Classic Develop Module - Advanced	Date and time: Monday, April 6, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Lightroom Class (not Lightroom CC), version 9.2 or later. What's covered: Local adjustments (adjustment brush, gradient tool and radial tool), tips and tricks, creating and using Develop Presets

Lightroom / Photoshop Integration	Date and time: Tuesday, April 7, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Lightroom Class (not Lightroom CC), version 9.2 or later. Photoshop CC version 20.0.9 or later. What's covered: Workflow (basic edits in Lightroom - send to Photoshop - work in Photoshop - save back to the Lightroom catalog. Photoshop basics (masks, selections, layers, adjustment layers).

Photoshop - Advanced	Date and time: Thursday, April 9, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Photoshop CC version 20.0.9 or later. What's covered: Luminosity masks, channels, advanced selections, using smart objects, setup and save custom workspaces.

Fixing problems with Photoshop	Date and time: Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Photoshop CC version 20.0.9 or later. What's covered: Edge halos, chromatic aberrations, blue sky color gradients

Exposure Blending in Photoshop	Date and time: Thursday, April 16, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Photoshop CC version 20.0.9 or later. What's covered: Exposure blending with one or two images, separating the land from the sky, blending modes.

Painting with Light in Photoshop	Date and time: Friday, April 17, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Photoshop CC version 20.0.9 or later. What's covered: Dodging and burning, using selections to paint with light, create custom vignettes, create dramatic clouds.

Using Snapseed to Edit Photos on your Phone	Date and time: Monday, April 20, 2020, 6:30-7:30pm Duration: 1 hour Tuition: $25 Prerequisites: Snapseed installed on your phone. What's covered: Snapseed is a powerful and easy to use free app for smart phones that allows you to edits photos taken with your phone with many great tools. This class will provide an overview of all the tools in Snapseed

Photographing the Milky Way	Date and time: Wednesday, April 8, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm Duration: 2 hours Tuition: $35 Prerequisites: Basic understanding of exposure (aperture, shutter speed and ISO), basic understanding of your camera controls and menus (menu access, how to activate manual focus, how to access the histogram, settings for long exposure and high ISO noise reduction, mirror lockup, and self timer.
